Chef Leila, a San Francisco native, specializes in Latin Fusion and International Cuisine. Her culinary journey began as her grandmother's kitchen assistant at 30th Street Senior Center, where Martha Gomez served as the Executive Head Chef. Chef Leila learned to cook delicious meals while adhering to strict dietary guidelines.
In 2001, Chef Leila graduated from the California Culinary Academy. She then became a private chef, creating custom menus for Doctor-recommended diets in collaboration with a licensed nutritionist. At The Epicurean Trader, she developed a gourmet panini menu, promoting handcrafted artisan products on a local scale.
Leila now works as a culinary instructor here at Mission Language And Vocational School where she teaches the Culinary Mock Infusion Program. With her knowlege of Chef Leila teach students expert techniques to responsibly cook with marijuana, exploring diverse flavors and creating delicious infused dishes.
